Have you ever sat in a Huey helicopter? Join us Saturday, Feb. 10th, from noon-3pm for a chance to sit in this iconic aircraft from the Vietnam era. Admission to the museum is free during this event.

Nicknamed the Huey because of its designation of UH-1, the Iroquois prototype was first flown in 1956. Used for transport, reconnaissance, rescue, medical evacuation, and as an armed gunship, it could reach a top speed of 127mph. This helicopter was donated to the Mid-America Air Museum by Bell Helicopter.
